Rangers President and GM Glen Sather announced today that the team has agreed to terms with free agent defenseman Raphael Diaz.

Diaz, 29, skated in 56 games with the Flames this past season, registering two goals and two assists for four points, along with 10 penalty minutes.

Prior to joining the Flames, Diaz played part of the 2013-14 season with the Rangers after being acquired in a trade with Vancouver on March 5, 2014.
