One day after veteran Joe Thornton heatedly opined that general manager Doug Wilson should "keep his mouth shut" and "stop lying" following some remarks Wilson made to season ticket holders, Thornton said the two men had reconciled on a professional basis.

Specifically, Thornton said that between Friday night and game time Saturday, he had separate conversations with both Wilson and team owner Hasso Plattner to clear the air."I talked with Hasso and Doug," Thornton said, "and they don't have a problem with me."
