David Nonis, Senior Vice President and GM of the Maple Leafs, announced Wednesday that the club has acquired forward Zach Sill, Pittsburgh’s second round draft pick in 2016 and Pittsburgh’s fourth round draft pick in 2015 in exchange for forward Daniel Winnik.

Sill, 26, has skated in 42 regular season games this season for Pittsburgh, collecting three points (one goal, two assists) and 60 penalty minutes. The native of Truro, Nova Scotia has appeared in 62 career NHL regular season games, all with the Penguins. Sill has also registered 73 points (33 goals, 40 assists) in 277 career regular season games in the AHL.
