The Ducks announced today that the club has acquired center Louis Leblanc from the Canadiens in exchange for a conditional fifth-round selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. 

Leblanc, 23, has scored 10 points in 50 career NHL games with Montreal. Leblanc made his NHL debut with Montreal in 2011-12, leading team rookies in goals and ranking second in scoring and assists. The center also appeared in eight games for the Canadiens in 2013-14, going scoreless with a +1 rating and four PIM.

Selected by Montreal in the first round (18th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Leblanc has collected 68 points with 146 PIM in 163 career AHL games with Hamilton.
