David Nonis, Senior Vice President and GM of the Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday evening that the club has signed restricted free agent Nazem Kadri to a two-year contract.

Kadri, 22, collected 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) in all 48 regular season games this past season.

The native of London, Ontario recorded two hat-tricks and 11 multiple-point games in 2013.  Kadri was the Leafs’ first choice, seventh overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
