The Blue Jackets have signed center Boone Jenner to a three-year entry level contract, club Executive Vice President and GM Scott Howson announced today. Jenner was selected by Columbus in the second round, 37th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Jenner, 18, is currently playing in his third season with the Oshawa Generals of the OHL. He tallied 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points with 59 penalty minutes and a +12 plus/minus rating in 43 games this season. Oshawa's team captain, he has added 3-2-5 and six penalty minutes in three OHL playoff games.
