Goaltender Evgeni Nabokov has agreed to terms with the Islanders on a one-year contract extension.
The deal is worth $2.75M and does not include a no-trade or no-movement clause, a source confirmed to ESPNNewYork.com.
"Evgeni has proven that he can still play at an elite level in the NHL," Islanders GM Garth Snow said in a prepared statement. "He's given us a chance to win every night and we're excited to have him back for another season."
