The Ducks announced today that the club has reassigned right wing Kyle Palmieri to the Syracuse Crunch, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the AHL. Palmieri has appeared in 10 games with the Ducks this season, scoring 2 points with two penalty minutes. In 23 games with Syracuse in 2011-12, he has 31 points with a +15 rating and 23 PIM. Named to the 2012 AHL Eastern Conference All-Star Classic roster for the second straight season on Jan. 4, Palmieri is currently tied for third among AHL leaders in goals and tied for second in game-winning goals (5).
