Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired center Dominic Moore from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a third round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Moore collected 15 points (6-9=15), 46 penalty minutes (PIM) and won 350 of 678 face-offs taken (.516) in 59 games with Pittsburgh this season. The 6-foot, 195-pound forward notched 18 points (9-9=18) and 28 PIM appearing in all 82 games with the New York Rangers as a rookie in 2005-06. He recorded three assists in his NHL debut with New York on Nov. 1, 2003 at Montreal. Moore played four years at Harvard University tallying 147 points (64-83=147) and 135 PIM in 128 contests finishing his collegiate career 11th on Harvard?s all-time scoring list.
