The Kings have signed forward Cam Paddock to a one-year contract and defenseman Alex Roach to a three-year entry level contract, Kings President/GM Dean Lombardi announced today. Paddock, 28, played last season in Germany with the Iserlohn Roosters where he collected 17 points and 40 penalty minutes in 46 regular season games. The native of Vancouver, British Columbia has appeared in 16 career NHL regular season games – all with St. Louis during the 2008-09 season. Paddock, who was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth-round (137th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, recorded two goals and three points in those 16 NHL games. Roach, 18, played last season with Calgary in the Western Hockey League where he collected 16 points and 77 penalty minutes in 61 regular season games. The 6-4, 219-pound native of Quensel, Quebec attended Kings 2011 Training Camp as a tryout before signing his deal and then being re-assigned to his junior team in Calgary.
