Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane underwent surgery on his left wrist on Tuesday, and the team said he is expected to begin modified workouts "shortly." "Patrick Kane underwent surgery today to repair a scaphoid fracture in his left wrist," Blackhawks head team physician Michael Terry said in a statement. "The surgery went very well and we anticipate a full recovery. "Patrick will begin doing modified preseason workouts shortly and we hope for a full return to activity in six to eight weeks." Kane said he injured the wrist during the second-to-last game of the regular season against the Red Wings.
