The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a three-year contract with Frank Nazar, one of the team's top prospects.

The Blackhawks announced the deal on Saturday, two days after Nazar and Michigan lost 4-0 to Boston College in the Frozen Four. The entry-level agreement runs through the 2025-26 season at a $950,000 salary-cap hit.

Noah Hanifin and the Vegas Golden Knights have agreed to an eight-year contract extension worth $7.35 million annually, the team announced Thursday.

Re-signing Hanifin, who was set to become a pending unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, to a long-term deal comes a little more than a month after the defending Stanley Cup champion Golden Knights acquired the 27-year-old defenseman in a three-team trade with the Calgary Flames and the Philadelphia Flyers just days before the NHL trade deadline.

The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with Swedish goaltender Hugo Ollas on a two-year, entry-level contract.

General manager Chris Drury announced the deal on Friday with the 21-year-old who appeared in 21 games for Merrimack College this season, posting a 2.84 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.

The New York Rangers agreed to terms Sunday on a one-year contract extension with veteran goaltender Jonathan Quick that's worth $1.275 million for the 2024-25 NHL season.

Quick, 38, joined the team he grew up rooting for on an $825,000 deal last summer after backing up for the Vegas Golden Knights on their Stanley Cup run. He has thrived as Igor Shesterkin's backup this season for the first-place Rangers.

Star center Elias Pettersson and the Vancouver Canucks have agreed to an eight-year contract extension worth $92.8 million, ending speculation about his future with the franchise.

Pettersson, 25, has 75 points in 62 games this season, including 29 goals. Over six NHL seasons, the center has 165 goals and 233 assists in 387 games. The Canucks drafted him fifth overall in 2017.

The New York Rangers and forward Jonny Brodzinski have reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension.

General manager Chris Drury announced the deal Wednesday. The contract is a one-way deal, with Brodzinski earning $787,500 annually whether he stays in the NHL or is sent down to the minor leagues.

The Blackhawks announced another two-year contract Wednesday, agreeing to an extension with goaltender Petr Mrazek.

Mrazek's new deal runs through the 2025-26 season and carries a salary cap hit of $4.25 million. 

The Vancouver Canucks have given Hall of Famer Jim Rutherford a three-year extension to remain in his role as the president of hockey operations.

Rutherford, who was inducted as a builder in 2019, joined the Canucks during the 2020-21 season. He spent seven seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins where the franchise won two Stanley Cups with Rutherford serving as executive vice president of hockey operations and general manager.

Chicago announced the deal Tuesday. It runs through the 2025-26 season and carries a salary cap hit of $4.25 million.

Nick Foligno and the Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a two-year, $9 million contract, the team announced Friday, extending the relationship between the popular forward and his fifth NHL team.

Foligno, 36, was in line for unrestricted free agency this summer after signing a one-year, $4 million deal during the 2023 offseason following a June trade from the Boston Bruins. His new deal runs through the 2025-26 season.
