Islanders Acquire Marc-Andre Bergeron From Oliers

AP - The Oilers sent defensemen Marc-Andre Bergeron to the New York Islanders on Sunday for defenseman Denis Grebeshkov.

Bergeron, who has eight goals and 16 assists in 55 games this season, has spent his career with the Oilers. In 189 games over three-plus seasons, he has 33 goals and 88 points.

The Islanders also received a third-round draft pick in 2008 in the trade. [READ]
