Kings Sign Armstrong To Two-Year Extension

Press Release - The Los Angeles Kings have reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension with Kings center Derek Armstrong, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Armstrong, 33, has played in 54 games with the Kings this season and has 39 points (9-30=39) and 50 penalty minutes. His 30 assists are a career high and they rank tied for third on the team while his 39 points rank fifth on the team. In addition, Armstrong leads the Kings with a plus-16 rating and with six points in his last five games, Armstrong in only two points shy of a new career high. [READ]
