Flyers GM Paul Holmgrem said he's been contacted by a number of teams about Forsberg leading up to the Feb. 27 NHL trading deadline. But Holmgrem denied a Denver television report that the Swedish star has been given permission to speak to the Avalanche about returning to his former team.
The 33-year-old Forsberg is in the final year of his contract and can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. [READ] |
