Kings Assign Brust To AHL

Press Release - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned goaltender Barry Brust to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Brust, 23, played in 11 games with the Kings this season, his first in the NHL, and has recorded a 2-4-1 record, a 3.70 goals-against-average and a .878 save percentage. He was recalled by the Kings from the Monarchs on November 29, made his NHL debut on November 30 at Phoenix and earned his first NHL win during his first NHL start on December 14 at San Jose. With Manchester this season, the 6-2, 235-pound native of Swan River, Manitoba, has a 1-4-0 record, a 3.04 goals-against-average and a .905 save percentage in five games. [READ]
