Predators Sign Peverley To Two-Year Deal

Press Release - Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has signed forward Rich Peverley to a two-year contract. The deal will pay Peverley $450,000 (2006-07) and $460,000 (2007-08) at the NHL level and $60,000 (2006-07) and $75,000 (2007-08) at the American Hockey League level.

Peverley, 24 (7/8/82), leads the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) in goals (17), assists (28), points (45) and plus/minus rating (+12) in 41 games this season. The 6-0, 185-pound center posted 46 points (12g-34a) in 65 regular-season games with the Admirals last season and had 11 points (2g-9a-11pts) in 21 playoff contests. [READ]
