Flyers Tried To Deal For Thomas

New York Post - The Flyers may try to trade for Bruins goalie Tim Thomas this summer, according to the New York Post.

Philadelphia will be facing major cap issues next summer.

Thomas has three years at an annual $5 million cap hit remaining on the over-35 extension he signed last season.

The Flyers targeted Thomas at the deadline, but were unable to figure out a way to fit the contract under the cap. [READ]
