Columbus Assigns Wesler And Lindstrom To AHL

Press Release - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned defenseman Derrick Walser and forward Joakim Lindstrom to the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.

Walser was scoreless in two games with Columbus and has also tallied 3-10-13 and 27 penalty minutes in 23 AHL games with the Crunch and Albany River Rats this season. He spent parts of three seasons with the Blue Jackets from 2001-04 and has collected 6-21-27 and 56 penalty minutes in 84 career NHL games. [READ]
