Avs Sign Carman To Entry-Level Deal

Press Release - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has signed forward Mike Carman to an entry-level contract. Carman will report to Colorado?s American Hockey League affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.

Carman, 21, just completed his senior season at the University of Minnesota (WCHA), tallying 18 points (8g/10a) in 39 games. The 6-0, 180-pound center ranked fifth on the Gophers in goals and sixth in points. A native of Augusta, Ga., Carman finished with 66 points (29g/37a) in 135 career games during his four seasons at Minnesota.
