Americans Slip Past Swiss

ESPN - Zach Parise scored a pair of goals as the United States defeated Switzerland 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

Parise scored a power-play goal to break a scoreless tie early in the third period and added an empty-net goal in the victory.

The Americans next play the winner of Wednesday's Finland-Czech Republic game. [READ]
