Columbus Assigns Lindstrom To Syracuse

Press Release - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned forward Joakim Lindstrom to the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.

Lindstrom, 23, has collected 1-0-1 with an even plus/minus rating in four games with the Blue Jackets this season, scoring his first career NHL goal at Minnesota on December 29. Columbus' second pick, 41st overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft, he made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets last season and was scoreless in three games. The Skelleftea, Sweden native has also tallied 2-6-8 and four penalty minutes in 14 games with Syracuse this season and in 91 career AHL games, he has registered 20-38-59 and 56 penalty minutes.
