ESPN - The Red Wings defeated the Blackhawks 5-2 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday afternoon.

Detroit's Dan Cleary matched a playoff career high with two goals against the team that drafted him 13th overall in 1997.

Johan Franzen, Mikael Samuelsson and Henrik Zetterberg added goals for Chicago, who scored the last three goals of the game. [READ]
