USA Basketball is moving its headquarters from Colorado Springs to the Phoenix suburb of Glendale.

The city's City Council approved a memorandum for the project on Tuesday, which will include USA Basketball's executive offices, a multi-court training facility and a 150-room hotel.

"The amenities which will be available at our headquarters and on the campus are distinctive and high-end and will greatly expand our capacity to contribute to the overall growth of our sport," said outgoing USA Basketball president Val Ackerman.
