Memphis swingman Rudy Gay hit an 18-foot jumper as time expired on Friday night to lead his team to a win over Orlando in their home-opener.

"I didn't have a chance to think it was off [line]," Gay said. "I was thinking the whole time, 'I practice this a lot, so go out there and do what I practice'."

Gay finished the night with 29 points, and the win was the first for the Grizzles in a home-opener in Memphis.
