| 29th December, 2008 - 5:40 pm |  ESPN - Claude Lemieux signed a contract with the Sharks on Monday after spending the past month with their top minor-league affiliate.
Lemieux, 43, signed with the Worcester Sharks on Nov. 25 after a five-year absence from pro hockey.
San Jose general manager Doug Wilson said Lemieux will stay with the Sharks if he clears waivers Tuesday after signing his new deal.
