Report: Wings' Osgood Avoids IR

Detroit Free Press - Red Wings' goaltender Chris Osgood will not miss an extended period of time while nursing a groin injury, according to a Detroit Free Press published report on Tuesday.

Osgood will not have to go on IR, which would have required him to be out at least 10 games or 24 days.

After practicing with the team on Tuesday, Osgood estimated that he will be ready to play Saturday against Colorado. [READ]
