Tariq Abdul-Wahad has played in only 44 games for the Denver Nuggets, or slightly more than half of an NBA season, since being acquired in a trade 21 months ago. This is part of the reason people call him a bust.

Another part comes from what Abdul-Wahad has done on the court when he has been healthy enough to play for Denver.

In those 44 games, including 22 starts, the 26-year-old shooting guard has shot well below .400, which, considering his position, isn't good. He has made 94 of 242 shots (.388). He has averaged 18 minutes a game and scored a total of 245 points for Denver.

Abdul-Wahad is in the second year of a seven-year $43.3 million
