Let's say the SuperSonics go 20-62 this season, Gary Payton throws fits and Vin Baker causes problems with his inconsistent play.

None of the above is supposed to happen, based on training-camp developments thus far. If they do, it will be an improvement for Antonio Harvey, who played in Portland last year.

"At the first team meeting we had here, I stood up and said: 'If anybody knows about team dysfunction, it's me,'" Harvey said. "We were all friends off the court, but the on-court egos killed us. You've got to check your ego at the door."

Harvey, a 6-foot-11 forward, is one of the most likely candidates to earn one of the two roster spots available on Nate McMillan's team.
