| 27th November, 2008 - 7:14 pm |  The Canadian Press - The Senators placed Luke Richardson on waivers Thursday, a move that could lead to the veteran defenceman?s retirement, as reported by the Canadian Press.
If he clears waivers by noon ET Friday, he?ll be eligible to play for the club?s AHL affiliate in Binghamton. But Richardson is not expected to report to the minors.
