Weekes Gets 100th Win, Devils Top Isles

ESPN - Goalie Kevin Weekes made 25 saves for the Devils on Friday night to record the 100th victory of his NHL career.

New Jersey defeated the Islanders 5-2 on the strength of Weekes' goaltending and goals by David Clarkson and Travis Zajac within a 10-second period.

"It's always fun when you get a chance to play," said Weekes. "It's a privilege to play in the NHL and I've always had that attitude my entire career. This one was pretty special. Now I know what Marty feels like every day. He's always hitting some milestone." [READ]
