ESPN - The Devils scored two goals in a 62-second span on Thursday night to defeat the Panthers at the Prudential Center.

New Jersey defenseman Paul Martin started the spurt at 5:49 after taking a pass from David Clarkson and ripping a shot into the net.

A little more than a minute later, Brian Gionta and Patrik Elias worked a great give-and-go pass for a shot into an empty net. [READ]
