Jackets Place Klesla On IR

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed defenseman Rostislav Klesla on Injured Reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Klesla was injured in last Friday?s 6-1 win at Buffalo and is expected to be sidelined at least one week.

Klesla has tallied one goal and two assists for three points with eight penalty minutes and an even plus/minus rating in 11 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The club?s first pick, fourth overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft has registered 36-73-109 and 426 penalty minutes in 421 career games with Columbus. [READ]
