| 13th November, 2008 - 9:32 pm |  Calgary Herald - Flames' defenseman Jim Vandermeer is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a broken left ankle, according to a report by the Calgary Herald on Thursday.
The newspaper reported the six-year veteran suffered the injury during Calgary's loss to the Blackhawks last Sunday.
