Avs Recall Jones From Lake Erie

Press Release - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has recalled forward David Jones from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League.

Jones was loaned to Lake Erie yesterday (Thursday, Nov. 6) to make a roster spot for defenseman Kyle Cumiskey. Jones, 24, has appeared in 10 games for the Avalanche this season, tallying a goal and one assist.

The Avalanche was granted a non-roster exemption, as forward Cody McCormick has been given permission to leave the team for personal reasons. [READ]
