Jackets Place Leclaire on IR, Activate Boll

Press Release - The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed goaltender Pascal Leclaire on Injured Reserve and activated right wing Jared Boll off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Boll is expected to return to the lineup tonight when Columbus hosts the Anaheim Ducks at Nationwide Arena.

Leclaire is 3-3-0 with a 3.41 goals-against average and .885 save percentage in seven games this season and owns a 44-52-11 record with a 2.75 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in 120 career NHL games. He left Saturday?s game at Minnesota early in the second period and is expected to be sidelined for at least one week.

Boll, who has missed the Blue Jackets? past five games, has registered 11 penalty minutes in three games this season. He collected 5-5-10 and 226 penalty minutes in 75 games as a rookie in 2007-08, leading the club and ranking second in the NHL in penalty minutes. He has 5-5-10 and 237 penalty minutes in 78 career games. [READ]
