Associated Press - Nikolai Zherdev scored the first of four first-period goals, and the Rangers remained unbeaten and are off to their best start in 25 years with a 4-3 win over the Flyers on Saturday night, according to an Associated Press report.

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin heard a mixture of those infamous Philly boos and some polite applause when she walked onto the ice to briefly trade politics for pucks. [READ]
