| 30th September, 2008 - 11:23 am |  Post-Gazette - The Penguins will likely be without defenseman Sergei Gonchar for four-to-six months after he has surgery on his dislocated left shoulder this week.
Pittsburgh will also be without defenseman Ryan Whitney until December because of a foot injury.
Gonchar is coming off one of his best seasons as a pro. He had 12 goals and 53 assists in 78 games last season. [READ] |
