Philly's Biron Hopes To Quiet Doubters

Courier-Post - Flyers' goalie Martin Biron hopes to silence doubters this season that claim he doesn't belong in an NHL net full-time, according to Courier-Post.

"Everybody questioned Marty," longtime teammate Danny Briere said. "With the way he performed in the playoffs there are no question marks anymore. We know how he can play."

He helped quiet some critics by helping lead the Flyers to the Eastern Conference Finals this past spring.

"Deep down in me I know we had a great ride," Biron said, "but do I think we could have gotten farther last season? Yeah, I do. There's the but for me. I'm my own worst critic. We took a huge step last season, but we only got halfway there. That's not enough." [READ]
