Gaborik, Wild Nearing Decision Time On Deal

ESPN - The Minnesota Wild and right wing Marian Gaborik are nearing decision time on whether or not they are going to extend their relationship, according to Associated Press.

The team will likely either sign Gaborik to a long-term deal or trade him before they lose him in free agency next summer.

"It'll become pretty clear pretty quickly," General Manager Doug Risebrough said.

Gaborik's agent Ron Salcer is scheduled to travel to North Dakota early this week for a second face-to-face meeting with assistant GM Tom Lynn in continuation of their negotiations. [READ]
