| 16th September, 2008 - 11:46 am |  New York Post - The Rangers opened up training camp on Tuesday but apparently still haven't made a contract offer to free agent Brendan Shanahan, according to New York Post.
There is no indication that the Rangers have either invited or will invite Shanahan to camp, and it is unclear whether or not Shanahan would accept such an offer.
"Other teams have been offering me jobs, not tryouts," Shanahan said last week when asked if he would skate with the team without a contract. "I haven't spent much time thinking about that." [READ] |
