Filatov To Finally Land In Columbus

Columbus Dispatch - The Blue Jackets expect Nikita Filatov, the sixth overall pick, to finally land in town on Tuesday, according to Columbus Disptach.

Filatov flew from Moscow to Toronto on Monday, arriving in the early evening and chatting with Blue Jackets coach Ken Hitchcock by phone.

"We're glad Nikita is here," general manager Scott Howson said. "He has been committed to this all along, since we drafted him. He said all along that he wants to play in the NHL.

"So it'll be great for us to start getting him acclimated to Columbus." [READ]
