Lecavalier Thinks He'll Be Set For Opener

Tampa Tribune - Lightning center Vincent Lecavalier believes that he'll be ready for the season opener despite his surgically-repaired shoulder, according to Tampa Tribune.

Lecavalier signed an 11-year contract with the team in July.

"It feels pretty good," Lecavalier said of his shoulder. "It's definitely not ready for contact or anything like that. Every time I go on the ice, it feels a little bit better. My wrist shot is a little weak, but it's getting there." [READ]
