| 14th August, 2008 - 6:43 pm |  TSN of Canada - Citing undisclosed sources, TSN of Canada reported Thursday that the Maple Leafs have a deal in place that will send the defenseman Bryan McCabe to the Panthers.
McCabe has a no-trade clause in his contract, but it is anticipated he will waive it once he receives the $2 million signing bonus owed to him by Toronto, TSN reported. The Maple Leafs are expected to make the payment on September 1. [READ] |
