Oilers To Retire Anderson's No. 9

The Canadian Press - The Oilers will retire Glenn Anderson?s No. 9 before a game against the Coyotes on Jan. 18, 2009, according to a Canadian Press report on Wednesday.

Anderson?s number will go into the rafters at Rexall Place, joining Al Hamilton, Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri, Grant Fuhr, Paul Coffey and Mark Messier.

Anderson is set to go into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November. [READ]
