RealGM Staff Report - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired a fifth-round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft from Carolina for forward Darcy Hordichuk.

The Predators have eight selections in tomorrow's and Saturday?s 2008 NHL Entry Draft, including four in the first 46 selections (No. 9, 15, 40 and 46). Nashville?s other picks are No. 76 (third round), No. 106 (fourth round), No. 136 (fifth round), and No. 166 (sixth round). With the acquisition of the pick for Hordichuk, the Predators also hold eight picks in next summer?s draft, as well.
