Flyers' Kapanen Announces Retirement

The Canadian Press - Flyers' winger Sami Kapanen is retiring after 12 NHL seasons, as reported by the Canadian Press on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old had eight points in 74 regular-season games for the Flyers. Kapanen was selected by the Hartford Whalers in the fourth round of the 1995 NHL entry draft. [READ]
