Flyers GM Holmgren Insists Gagne Still Out

Philadelphia Daily News - Simon Gagne has been traveling with the Flyers, but GM Paul Holmgren made it clear Monday that there is no chance he would participate in the postseason.

“He hasn’t done anything in terms of fitness,” Holmgren told the Philadelphia Daily News. “I don’t see him being an option no matter how long this thing goes. He’s around and he went to Montreal (for Game Five of the conference semifinals on Saturday) and it’s probably eating at him, but it’s in his best interest for him to wait. [READ]
