| 3rd May, 2008 - 8:00 pm |  ESPN - New York forward Sean Avery has been transferred out of intensive care, but remains in the hospital as he recovers from a lacerated spleen, according to the Associated Press.
There is no immediate word on when Avery will be released from the hospital, after being admitted on Tuesday night.
