Briere Says He's Ready To Face Capitals

ESPN - Daniel Briere claims that he's ready to face the Capitals in the first round of the NHL playoffs, according to the Associated Press.

He practiced with the Flyers for the first time since last week on Tuesday, and he is nearly certain he'll return for Philadelphia later this week.

He injured his knee against Pittsburgh and missed the final two games of the regular season.

"Right now, I believe I'll be in right from the get go," Briere said. "That's what I believe, but we'll see how it improves. But I think I'll be ready to go." [READ]
